Mountain Hardwear

One of the world’s premier clothing and equipment manufactures, Mountain Hardwear have been providing innovative and top quality functional mountain products since 1993. As a member of MHW team of international athletes, Jake has been using and abusing their clothing and equipment for more than 5 years.
SmartWool

Smartwool use pure merino wool from New Zealand to create the most comfortable socks on the market. It is a testament to their quality that Jake has never suffered any cold damage to his toes, or blisters for that matter whilst wearing Smartwool socks in the mountains. However, whilst wearing other synthetic brands, he’s had frost-nip, and blisters that would rival a third degree burns victim!

Jake feels especially strongly about this cause; ‘Climbing Everest was my dream, and so I only hope that in doing so, I can help these amazingly strong and brave children have their dreams come too also’.
