Jake has appeared live numerous times on Local and National news. He has also appeared on programmes such as ‘Exchange’ (BBC) and ‘The 50 greatest Disaster Movies’ (Five).

He is keen to pursue a career in front of the camera… watch this space!

Random Jake Trivia: Jake appeared (as a featured and credited role) in 1994’s ‘A Feast At Midnight’, co-starring with Christopher Lee, Robert Hardy, Sam West and Lisa Faulkner. After the premiere in Leicester Square he wanted to quit school and go to stage school. His father wouldn’t let him, and a year later he took up climbing instead…

    At the age of 14, Jake Meyer set himself the challenge of becoming the youngest person to climb the 7 Summits; the highest mountain on each continent. On the 4th June 2005 at the age of 21, he stood on the summit of Mt Everest, thus becoming the youngest Briton to climb Everest, as well as the youngest man in the world to complete the 7 Summits.

    Although his Everest record has now been beaten, he continues to find new and exciting projects to challenge himself with.
