Wow - so nice to have a good night's sleep, and wake up knowing that you haven't got an uphill (!) struggle ahead of you today. At a very relaxed breakfast we all caught up on Fabrizio's news from the last few days, which all sounded pretty epic! We then spent the rest of the morning sorting out the food left behind by tow of the members who have departed in the last week - lots of goodies there!
The two members who had stayed in C2 last night arrived back in BC in time for lunch, and the members who had stayed up in C3 sounded like they had had a pretty peaceful night. They'll be coming down later today, and hopefully the whole team will be back together for supper. Other than that, nice and chilled day, writing up the past few dispatches and doing a bit of long overdue washing (of self and kit!). I think that the next few days will be well earned R&R, whilst we wait for a couple of days of bad weather further up the mountain to pass. After that - who knows...

Hey buddy,
Been enjoying catching up on your progress. Well done. Wishing you good weather and superhuman strength for the remainder of the climb. Stay safe and bang in an extra piton for me on those abseils. And watch out for any serious altercations with the legs!!
