These last few days have been rather good... Not only did I have a fantastic weekend down in Dorset with loads of friends (with a little climbing in Swanage thrown in for good measure!), but I've had some rather good news concerning this summer.

K2 may well be back on - Whoop Whoop!!

At the moment we are due to leave on the 10th June and will probably be looking to attempt to summit around the 1st August. With only 5 weeks until I leave I've got rather a large amount to sort out in preparation for my hardest challenge yet. To say that I'm excited is perhaps the understatement of the century!

I've only got the 'small' task of raising a very significant amount of money before I leave for the expedition itself! However, it's not a problem, it's a challenge! During the expedition I will also be raising money for charity - details to follow. I will also change around this site, so that I can blog directly from the mountain to the web, so that everyone can keep up to date with the trials and tribulations of our epic struggle against the odds!

If anyone has any grand ideas about sponsorship - or would like their logo on my kit/perhaps even on top of K2 - then please please get in touch asap! No donation too small! That will also go for the charity side as well.
