This week I went along to the official (re)naming ceremony of a local scout group in Dursley, who have named themselves the Meyer Explorer Scout Unit. It was an incredible honour to have been asked to lend my name to this great organisation about 3 months ago, and now having had the unveiling of the new logo this week, it's all official! I was a cub-scout for about 6 months when I was about 7, and I guess that it subconsciously sowed the seeds of my adventurous spirit! Explorer Scout Units are aimed at 14-18 year olds, and provide a great environment of teamwork and an emphasis on personal challenge and adventure.
