Jan so far…

Having successfully survived the festive period, I was ready and waiting to get back into some actual work last week. 4 very different lectures, lots of road miles, lots of great people met (the real reason I love the speaking!). Started on the Monday with a talk to a Medical PR firm in Buckinghamshire, followed by a trip up to Loughborough on Thursday to speak to some of the UKs most talented young sports people, as part of the Youth Sport Trust. As well as the amazingly talented kids, also met some incredibly inspirational Team GB Olympians, including sprinter Jason Gardiner, which was a real treat. Friday morning was spent in Windsor with a Surveying company, and then that evening down in Dorset speaking to the boys and girls of Milton Abbey School.
Other than the awful news on Saturday about Rob (see below), a very relaxing and chilled out weekend in London, including going to see Defiance - which I thought was amazing. Had a meeting this morning about leading a corporate expedition to Morocco, which looks as though it's on the cards, and should be fantastic, and just arrived back down in damp and drizzly Gloucestershire for a week in the office doing bits and pieces - planning world domination as usual.
