EP120 launch
Went to a fantastic launch at Adam and Co on King St in St James’s on Thursday night last night. Twas the launch of the EP120 Bemont watch. This limited edition timepiece is made from parts of one of the last surviving WW2 Spitfires, and in a word, is incredible. Beautiful craftsmanship, Spitfire nosecone and propellers in the rear case - amazing. Check it out - although there aren’t many left! Bumped into Orlando Bloom there, wearing his Bremont, and chatted for a while about the finer details of our watches! There was also a charity auction in aid of Help for Heroes which seemed to raise a great amount of money - a days climbing with me and Bear went for £1600! Perhaps that was mainly because of the thought of Bear being there rather than me…. but I’m still claiming credit! Great to catch up with Neil Laughton and hear about his latest adventure to travel from the UK to Timbuktu using a rather novel form of transport! I was also nearly killed when my raspberry tartlet exploded in my hand - I hate dessert based IEDs.
